The quaint and rustic charm of Eaton's Sugarhouse is the result of the many careers that this old building has had over the years. Originally, around 1865, it was a cider mill, and it still retains its old cider press.
Around 1953 the Eaton and Danforth families added a sugarhouse. In 1967 the current structure was renovated to accommodate a restaurant. The restaurant has grown to be one of Vermont's most popular breakfast destinations. Eaton's Sugarhouse Restaurant is known for its home-cooked meals and the best pancakes in the state.
